5 out of 5 stars. So, i planned to never have an old yeller book club, but my son picked it for one of his summer books a few years ago, which led to this book and a movie post.

As the new pup grows, it begins to resemble old yeller. The film is based on the novel by fred gipson. In the process, he is bitten by a rabid wolf.
